The AAP statement which is referenced in the CCCP Fact Sheet is a 2007 reaffirmation of a 2003 AAP Policy Statement. The conclusions of the 2003 AAP Policy Statement are cautious and limited.  The response suggested by California’s new law is targeted at the offending chemicals, not at all infant toys and plastics.
